Susan McVey, ABR, SRES - Broker
As a native of the North Georgia Mountains, Susan has true knowledge of the area and can give accurate information as to what the towns were like over 30 years ago. Susan grew up in Ellijay, GA and attended Gilmer High School, where she led three basketball teams to the State Championships. She then received a full basketball scholarship to North Georgia College and State University in Dahlonega, GA. After graduating college with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Accounting (in only three years), Susan married another local basketball star, Patrick McVey. They lived in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains of Blairsville, GA for two years, then came back home to Ellijay.
After years of real estate experience in apartment complex management, Susan pursued her real estate license. By her third year in the business, Susan was named as the 14th leading RE/MAX agent in the state of Georgia. In 2006, she was again named in the list of top 25 RE/MAX agents in the state. In less than four years, Susan earned RE/MAX Hall of Fame status. Amongst the middle of all of these achievements, Susan had her greatest achievement in July 2006, with the birth of her son Jackson. After 13 years of marriage, Patrick and Susan enjoy their little "record" baby... Jackson is known by most of the locals as Ellijay's biggest or at least tallest baby, at 11+ pounds and 2 feet tall at birth (delivered 2 weeks early!)
Even after starting a family, you'll find Susan is organized and balanced and remains the Top Residential Agent in the area. You will never have to worry about lack of correspondence. Dorinda Burnett is on hand as a full time Buyer's Agent and Konnie Keilbach serves as a full-time Client Service Specialist.

Konnie Keilbach - Client Services Specialist
Konnie, who is a licensed real estate agent herself, has over 12 years experience managing real estate teams and real estate agents. She has three children, and through running a busy household she has learned the valuable art of managing others and functioning at a fast pace with high energy level. Konnie is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the team, including marketing, transaction management, client care coordination, and, her biggest challenge, managing the partners. Konnie is excellent at overseeing that everything runs smoothly from the first point of contact with the client to well after the closing has occurred. She is detail-oriented and holds everyone accountable for all systems needed to maintain a functioning, productive real estate team. She offers a high level of professionalism to all those she comes into contact with, while still remaining to be friendly and pleasant to deal with.
Dorinda Cotton Burnett, CRB, CRS, ABR, SRES - Buyer's Agent
Dorinda began her real estate career in 1979 and became a full-time agent in 1981 after leaving the corporate sector. She was recognized in 2003 for twenty consecutive years in the Board of Realtors® Million Dollar Club for production. Believing in her obligation to the betterment of her profession, she founded the Appalachian Chapter of the Women's Council of Realtors® and is past President. She has also served on the Northeast Georgia Board of Realtors® Board of Directors as Georgia Association of Realtors Director as well as Secretary/Treasurer, Gilmer County Director, and RPAC Chairperson. She served as the Broker for RE/MAX of Ellijay for two years until she returned to her first love of simply being the best Realtor® she could be.
Working mainly on a referral basis of past clients and other agents, Dorinda feels a strong sense of commitment to those whom she has had the pleasure to represent in the sale or purchase of property. "I feel like I have a really large family."
