Susan McVey, ABR, SRES - Associate Broker

As a native of the North Georgia Mountains, Susan has true knowledge of the area and can give accurate information as to what the towns were like over 30 years ago. Susan grew up in Ellijay, GA and attended Gilmer High School, where she led three basketball teams to the State Championships. She then received a full basketball scholarship to North Georgia College and State University in Dahlonega, GA. After graduating college with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Accounting (in only three years), Susan married another local basketball star, Patrick McVey. They lived in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains of Blairsville, GA for two years, then came back home to Ellijay.

After years of real estate experience in apartment complex management, Susan pursued her real estate license. By her third year in the business, Susan was named as the 14th leading RE/MAX agent in the state of Georgia. In 2006, she was again named in the list of top 25 RE/MAX agents in the state. In less than four years, Susan earned RE/MAX Hall of Fame status. Amongst the middle of all of these achievements, Susan had her greatest achievements with the births of her sons Jackson ('06) and Preston ('08). Patrick and Susan enjoy their little "record" babies who are known by most of the locals as Ellijay's biggest or at least tallest babies, each weighing 11+ pounds and 2 feet tall at birth (delivered 2 weeks early!)

Even after starting a family, you'll find Susan is organized and balanced and remains the Top Residential Agent in the area. You will never have to worry about lack of correspondence.
